Hello friends & family!

As you probably know, Cameron and I got married a few short weeks ago on January 4, 2022. Over the past 5+ years that we have been engaged, there have been countless discussions about having a wedding- when/where/how/etc. The plans were always very loose, and nothing ever stuck. As a result, we ended up putting it off for quite some time. So we made it a goal of ours to get married this year.

The topic came up once again shortly after waking up one Tuesday morning. I can’t remember whose idea it was first, but the conversation went kind of like this:

“Let’s just get married today.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Ok.”

“Ok.”

By that evening, we were finally married. Doing it this way just made sense for us. It was simple. We didn’t tell anyone. There was no ceremony. Afterwards, we got take-out & a bottle of red wine and went home to paint our bathroom. It was fun, spontaneous, stress-free, and everything I could have ever dreamed of.

We’ve had a lot of people ask about a registry. This is something we hadn’t considered especially since we got married so suddenly.
