Greetings!

Family & Friends,

Our world as it is today, did not make a foundation for the large wedding we had originally planned for. We did not feel that we would be able to confidently plan a big wedding at a time where COVID is still impacting our daily lives. For this reason (and because we didn't want to wait any more!) we had a wonderful, intimate wedding on Mt. Hood National Forest on August 8, 2021.

Our small and cozy gathering took place at the Williams' beautiful cabin, which is nestled in a magical forest surrounded by fir trees and a flowing river. We gathered our immediate family, plus a few members of Eden's immediate family-by-choice, a couple local friends to be ring bearers, and Eden's two best friends from childhood who served as our ketubah witnesses. In total, there were 22 people present for our DIY wedding. And DIY it was! Everyone who was present for our wedding had a role in making it happen. Rick built our chuppah, Nathan and Suha strung twinkle lights, Alex & Hannah made our delicious cocktails, Maya and Amelia put together a gorgeous table display, Daniya was our florist...the list of generosity and creative talent is endless! Having everyone work together in this way, gave the weekend that special feeling of community we have all missed this last year and a half. Not many weddings get to be put together in this way, and it truly was a reminder of the unique, creative, collaborative, and loving characteristics that make up the fabric of our lives. While we wish you could have all been present, we really did have our dream wedding at the cabin.

If you are finding yourself reading this, it is because you would have been invited, had we had our big wedding. Because we are both in graduate school full time, working full time, and are still settling into the beautiful house we bought this last spring, we cannot make promises regarding when or where a big party will happen. However, we do hope to gather you all at some point in the near-ish future where we can celebrate, dance the night away, and show you more pictures and memories from our lovely wedding.

With the privilege of having so much love in our lives, we have heard from many of you, who have asked what to gift us and how! We are fortunate enough to already have everything we need for our home, so please consider giving to our honeyfund! We would LOVE to go on a honeymoon as soon as we can. By gifting to our honeyfund registry (see below), you would enable us to have the relaxing, adventurous, and fulfilling vacation we desire.

Please do not feel obligated to give a gift to our honeyfund. This site also serves as a way to keep as many people who would have been invited updated on our wedding and hear from us directly, as we would have loved to celebrate with you.

See the above square for a mini slideshow of some pictures from our wedding!

Thank you so much for all the love, care, and gratitude you fill our lives with.

In Love & Wellness,

The Baron-Williams Family

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a place where we can relax while also getting the opportunity to explore places, plants, and animals we have never seen before. Costa Rica is one of Rick and Nancy's favorite vacation destinations. Their stories of exploring rainforests, spotting monkeys, eating local foods, and relaxing days on the beach have inspired us to have an adventure there of our own.
