2020. Fun year so far, right?

We’ve seemingly done everything backwards over the past 7 years we’ve shared. We have made a home together, started a (furbaby) family, and forged a lifelong bond that is schism proof. Despite the challenges 2020 has had in store for us all, we’ve decided to make it “official” as of October 1.

We understand that this year has been rough for everyone, and that we’ve been relatively lucky to have our health and home. As such, we are not setting up a traditional registry — gifts are not expected but greatly appreciated. For our friends and loved ones able to provide support, you’ll be helping us make vital updates and repairs to our home.

For safety reasons (and to spare our loved ones the misery that is travel during the pandemic), we will not be holding a traditional ceremony but rather getting married by a justice of the peace. At this time we have no plans for a reception, but we are looking into potential options for either a live or digital gathering as conditions change.

Given all of the present circumstances in the world right now, even if the only thing you can provide are warm words of encouragement and positivity, it means a lot to both of us. We fully appreciate it, and will accept any love and support that comes our way as we become united in marriage.
