Since the moment Josh proposed in 2018 we knew we wanted to travel to Italy for our Honeymoon. The first stop on our Itinerary is Milan and from there we will be taking a train to Cantu, Italy, where we will experience first hand where the Cantu name originated. Josh has always been intrigued by learning about his family history, and what better way to celebrate a marriage than by going back to the roots.
From Cantu we will be traveling to Venice where we will spend 3-4 days sightseeing, eating gelato and wandering the city grounds. We might even take a sunset gondola ride down the canals of Venice.
From Venice we plan to take a train to Florence and renting a car or Vespa to explore to Vineyards and Castles of Tuscany. We will also visit the leaning tower of Pisa and relax along the countryside.
No trip to Italy would be complete without visiting Rome, we plan on seeing ancient Rome, the City Centre and Vatican City as well as taking a guided day trip to the ancient ruins of Pompeii.
The last stop on our tour of Italy will be the Amalfi Coast, we will be staying in the world renowned city of Positano where we will spend our days lounging on the beach and drinking limoncello.
