Dear Friends and Family,

We are both so honored that each and every one of you are able to be with us on this day as we make public our promises to each other. Obviously your presence and your support are the most precious gifts either of us could wish for. We want for nothing, and we need for nothing since we have found each other.

If anyone feels in any way obligated to mark this day and this union in some other way than being present for it, we would be honored if you would consider making a donation to one of these causes that we each feel so strongly about, or if neither speak to you, to make a donation in our honor to a charity that speaks to your heart and puts some good out into the world.

In lieu of any of that please consider contributing to our desire to experience as much of the world together as we can. Our situation is unique in that we are combining two households and have no need for a toaster (though it always seems the toaster is on the fritz anyway). We are awash with toasters but would personally value nothing more than quality time together. We are planning to visit chicago and if you feel inclined to help us to experience more while we are there of course, your gifts are ridiculously appreciated.
