WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!

We have been so blessed and overjoyed by the outpouring of love and support we have received leading up to this day. We wish we could take you all to Mexico with us but we know you will be there in spirit. We look forward to sharing a glimpse of our big day with you on our big day!

Many of you have asked where we are registered and the answer is no where, lol. Seriously, we do not need anything. What we do need and we never do, is a vacation. If you would like to buy a gift, consider contributing to our Honeyfund so we are forced to take a day off of work and go on a honeymoon.

**************** HOW WE MET ***************

It was 2006 (man that's a long time ago), Rich was new at Comcast and Darnisha was moving away to Fullerton for school. Darnisha made a simple comment to her uncle on how she thought Rich was cute and her uncle stopped the car and in front of all of his co-workers, called him over and said "hey my niece thinks you're cute!". Rich had a BlackBerry; Darnisha had a SideKick. Numbers were exchanged. They hung out a couple times and then they lost contact. A few years later, Rich sent Darnisha a message, and here we are today!

*************** THE PROPOSAL ***************

August 17, 2017, Darnisha, stayed the night at her mother's house to take her braids down. While running late for work, Rich comes by with a bouquet of roses and a teddy bear and tells her to get dress; they have to leave. Puzzled, Darnisha calls her boss only to find out Rich called ahead and arranged for her to have the day off of work. After having breakfast and lingering around the city, Rich pulls the car over and hands Darnisha a blind fold and sound-proof earphones to wear for the rest of the ride. They arrived at Ocean Beach where there was a picnic basket of food, fruit and wine! Rich gifted Darnisha a collage of photos over the years covered with post-its of all the reasons why he loved her. Being oblivious to the signs along the way, they continued to hang out at the beach. While in the water, Rich gifted Darnisha with another surprise, 1 knee and a diamond ring! And of course she said YES!

Now 2 years to the day, on the Del Cortez Beach in Los Cabos San Lucas, Mexico, Rich and Darnisha will say I Do!
