For our honeymoon, we plan on taking a two week trip to explore the country in depth.
We will be experiencing the culture as best we can by staying in a traditional Berber homestay high in the Atlas Mountains, trekking through the dramatic red dunes of the Sahara on a camel, the coastal town of Essaouira, the markets of Fes, the architecture of Casablanca, as well as Marrakech’s Djemaa el-Fna which has been described as a city within a city. Allowing us to explore one of the world’s largest meeting places, joining the night’s carnival atmosphere of fortune-tellers, dancers and medicine men.
