Hey everyone!

First, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding celebration is the biggest gift we could ask for. The time, effort and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to commemorate this happy occasion with you.

While we are comfortable living in San Diego, and have been lucky to have all of the "essential" home items that a couple needs, our current plan is to leave California when Jack gets out of the Navy in early 2020. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! Jack and I have taken many exciting trips together, however we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife, and have worked hard to save for this trip over the last several years. This will be a unique time in our lives with Jack transitioning to school and civilian life and Reilly (hopefully) entering medical school next summer. We intend on taking full advantage of it! During this short break in Spring 2020, we are planning on spending some time in Minnesota and putting our belongings into storage and selling our car before embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to some of our top destinations in Asia and New Zealand. While some larger expenses like long distance flights and high demand locations will have to be planned further in advance, we intend on striking a balance between careful preparation and spontaneity- after all, once you're in SE Asia, travel is pretty flexible and relatively cheap. This itinerary is tentative, and we are open to switching things up for whatever works best logistically! It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this ~2 month trip that we settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate every dollar contributed (if you choose!) to our registry "items" and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.

We'll do our best to document our honeymoon and include some fantastic photos in your much-deserved thank you note. Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the reception (or earlier!).
