Get your passports ready and look at the expiration date. Passports expiring within 6 months of November 4th, will need to be renewed.
The room link to the resort is a special rate to our guests. In order to take advantage of the rate, please make your reservation no later than September 30th.
The resort offers an all inclusive option if you prepay. Rate is $99 USD if you book in advance for your meal plan. There are themed nights at Playa Grande which are included. Playa Grande is part of Solmar resorts, so the meal plan can be used at neighboring Solmar hotels including the Grand Solmar next to Playa. Depending on your stay, if you plan on hanging by the pool and staying at the resort, the all inclusive is for you. If you want to explore Cabo, I recommend the 3 day plan and the rest of the time for exploration.
Transportation links below if you prefer a private driver through Playa Grande. There is a shuttle available from Los Cabos International to the resort. The resort is about 45 mins away from the airport. The shuttle can be purchased through the transportation link. $42 round trip
Activities are offered at Playa Grande if you want to participate in any excursions. I recommend taking a water taxi to look at the arcs (Los Arcos)

Beach warning: the Pacific waters are turbulent and unsafe for swimming. Please, please do not get close to the water. Many guests from neighboring resorts have been swept out to the ocean. Some have not made it out. Be careful and never underestimate the waves. The sea of Cortez is a calmer water which is down the hill from the resort.

Sorry to overcommunicate here! When you check in to Playa, you might passed on from the front desk to meet someone! Beware it could be a sales pitch! They will want you to see a property and offer a free "breakfast" and discount on activities! The deal is good but it comes with a long day presentation. Avoid it.

Please check with your cell phone provider about international data plans. I usually just connect to wifi at the resort and turn my phone off if I leave the property. But if you plan on going outside of Playa and leave the phone on, you can be charged roaming fees if not covered by provider.

Hi again! When your flight lands in Cabo, Bienvenidos!! You'll be passing three checkpoints before you exit the airport. First, immigration. Line is long but goes fast. You want to fill out the paper that is given to while on your flight. They will stamp your passport and be sure to keep all papers from the immigration officer. Next, baggage claim and currency exchange. I would bring small US dollars. Dollars are accepted anywhere but vendors give back pesos so the choice is yours. Third, Customs. This is a random checkpoint where you press a button and it turns either green or red. Officers will check your luggage if it turns red.
You'll leave customs and enter through sliding doors where you want to avoid all people there. They are timeshare or taxi drivers so if you booked transportation pass them and exit out the other set of sliding doors. Depending on your scheduled transportation, the company should give you an umbrella number. DON'T FORGET TO TIP drivers & resort staff

Hello again!! We are weeks away from the wedding!! So excited!
Last time we visited Cabo, returning back to the US, we pre filled out a questionnaire and uploaded our Covid results on two digital platforms. The app is called VeriFly and the questionnaire is vuela seguro. After they have been completed you show the QR code that's generated.

Please be sure to fill out before your flight back as WiFi is wonky at the airport. If unable to, no worries, they have paper versions that can be filled out at the airport

Hi everyone!!! Officially weeks away!
Please be sure to contact your bank about an international plan using your debit/credit cards. To check in at the resort you'll need to place the reservation using a credit card. Last time my card was declined because I didn't give a heads up. Had to contact my bank internationally which was a headache. Saving you guys some aspirin use. ;)

Bobby and I are in Cabo and highly recommend the all inclusive meal plan! Worth the money for food and beverage! Bring small bills for tipping !
