We are so very happy to include you all in our wedding celebration! We look forward to seeing those of you who can attend, and we hope you understand that your presence with us at the end of this year is the best possible gift you can give.
We are blessed to have a household together that is already fully stocked with the amenities we use in our every day lives. So, if it is your wish to give a gift, we would sure appreciate your cash contribution to our wedding celebration and vacation!

We have several rooms booked at the Holiday Inn Super Dome, and plan to accommodate as many of our guests there as we can. Please make sure to let us know whether you will be planning to stay in our rooms, or if you have made your own arrangements.
The night before the wedding, December 30, 2019, we plan to meet with our friends and family for dinner, at a location to be announced. Then we will go to City Park for Season Celebration in the Oaks, an accessible holiday light display where we can enjoy one another's company and take pictures and have fun. Those of us who want to will also take a train ride around the park to enjoy the lights from the outside. Then we will show our guests where the ceremony will take place.
The day of the wedding, December 31, 2019, Jen and Mel plan to spend the day in preparation. We will have breakfast early, at Surrey's. Then we will get massages and pedicures at Woodhouse Day Spa. That afternoon, we will have a light dinner at the hotel, while we prepare ourselves for the celebration. Then, we plan for everyone to meet at the designated spot in the park around 8:30. Nuptials at 9 will be short and sweet, followed by the New Year's Eve celebration in Jackson Square! After the Fleur De Lis drop in Jackson Square, we may wander over to Cafe Lafitte in Exile.
We are aware that some of our guests may not be comfortable celebrating in a big crowd in Jackson Square. We invite you to do whatever works for you after the wedding. Jen and Mel plan to eat, drink, and be merry!
The day after the wedding, January 1, 2020, we plan to meet with our guests one more time for lunch at Landry's on Lake Pontchartrain, timing to be announced.
