Just a quick update on what we've been up to and some info about the day. Annie has been using her summer holidays to make bits and pieces for the big day, and both of us had a beer tasting afternoon to get booze. Hornes Brewery from Bow Brickhill in MK will be supplying the majority of the beer, with 3 different styles to choose from. There's a free bar all day (well, until it's all gone!) with lots of different wine and spirits too. A photographer will be capturing the day so disgraceful behaviour is absolutely encouraged, but at your own risk.
We ask guests to arrive from 14:30 and we will do speeches and food from late afternoon. Plenty of time for Charlie to down a few beers before his big speech and subsequent humiliation from his best man, Dave.
There's plenty of parking available at the venue on the day which we can lock up at night if you're leaving your car. However as we have a 4 drink minimum to attend the day, driving is actively discouraged.

Hi everyone,
With 5 months to go until the big day we thought we'd give a bit more information to help with your travel and accommodation arrangements.
The venue is located in Millbrook, a village between Milton Keynes and Bedford. If you are planning on getting a taxi back to either MK or Bedford then please let us know in advance. We plan on putting people in touch with each other who are doing similar journeys to help with costs. If you are driving there are up to 18 spaces at the venue so this won't be an issue. There is also a train station at Millbrook which is under a mile from the venue, with trains coming from both MK and Bedford, or those from further afield can get off at Flitwick which is 3 miles away.
For accommodation, Ampthill is very close by and has a couple of hotels, however your best bet will be either in Milton Keynes or Bedford. Both have an abundance of hotels, pubs with rooms and AirBnB's. Woburn Centre Parcs is also next to Millbrook and is another option.
