A story about the bride and groom,

This story isn't about two individuals, it's about God! It all started long before they met. In March 2020 when the world stopped due to the pandemic, Carol decided to start saying daily prayers with her cousin, Carolina (yes, it's a bit confusing because they have the same name... lol). They prayed daily and at a certain point they started asking God to prepare their husbands.

On 10/03/2020, Carol went to the mountain to pray and on that day, God told her that she would not choose her husband, instead she would get chosen as Esther was.

At the end of that year, on 12/08/2020, she wrote a letter to God describing how she wished her husband would be. She gave great details with of all the characteristics she wished him to have.

In April 2021, she returned to pray on that mountain and God told her that "her husband was coming from far away... very very far away"... And so it was...

From a very distant place, Gresham, USA, Blake was praying for God to give him a virtuous wife in his life as written in Proverbs 31.

They met on a Christian relationship app and on 05/08/2021 they started talking.

Blake had several women talking to him, he chose Carolina from among them. They haven't stopped talking to each other ever since.

Carol asked for two signs from God, to confirm that Blake, was indeed, His chosen husband for her. God answered her precisely through Proverbs 31. She had asked for a confirmation, specifically, by sunset. He redundantly confirmed with two specific sunset signals.

On 07/03/2021, Blake arrived in Brazil to finally meet Carolina in person with her family. This part of the story was another gift from God. God gave Blake a free trip to Brazil with the gracious help of their friend Bruna.

After Blake returned to the US, they decided it was time for Blake’s family to meet his God given wife.

On 09/09/2021 they began a fast together. They fasted so God would guide their steps in marriage, if that was His will.

Exactly one month later, on 09/10/2021 Carolina left for Paraguay to fulfill quarantine for 17 days. On 10/26/2021, she finally arrived in USA.

After a month in the US, they are still certain in God’s plan for them too merry. They decided to celebrate the union before God, family, friends and the beautiful sunset on Maui, Hawaii. They set the date for 09/03/2022.
