Shortly after our engagement in February of last year, we made the decision to get married in 2021 but postpone our friends and family celebration. We hoped (and still hope!) that this plan will ensure a safer, more comfortable experience for our guests – especially those who are older, immunocompromised or traveling from out of town.
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021 (the three-year anniversary of our first date), we married in a private ceremony at the Cook County Courthouse in downtown Chicago. It was the most perfect, romantic, rainy day anyone could ask for. And, as promised and planned, our friends and family celebration will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.

We are so fortunate to already have a home full of everything we need, so please enjoy browsing our Honeyfund wishlist where you can contribute to our honeymoon travel fund: airfare, lodging and luggage. — HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS —
We have reserved a discounted block of rooms for our guests at Hotel Zachary, the event location. Rooms are $299/night and must be reserved by Thursday, September 22 in order to receive the discount.
Reservations can be made online (using the link above) or by phone (888-236-2427). If booking over the phone, be sure to let them know you're part of the ‘Becker-Black Anniversary Party’ group.
— EVENT LOCATION + PARKING —
Hotel Zachary is located directly across the street from historic Wrigley Field. Due to extremely limited parking in the area, we recommend guests use rideshare apps, taxis or public transportation to and from the event. The hotel is 5 minute walk from the Addison Red Line stop and accessible via the #152 Addison and #22 Clark buses.
