UPDATE

Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, we were supposed to be married on June 20, 2020. Due to Covid-19, we have postponed our wedding until June 19, 2021. Ian and I have been together for over 6 years, and we have gone through so much together including back injuries and much more. We really wanted our wedding to be a special day about us. When covid-19 arrived, our lives once again changed. As a teacher, I have had to quickly balance modifying my high school science curriculum for online learning, help educate our 2nd grader who is attempting to learn from home, and entertain our 3 year old. There is nothing like holding a live session with your students and hearing your son say "I just went poopoo" while recording. Meanwhile, as a police officer, Ian has had to continue on the front line, helping keep crime low while the nurses and doctors try to do their best to save the world. There is always a constant fear that he could be exposed, which keeps us on our toes. Although we were sad to postpone our wedding, sometimes the sacrifices we make for the greater good outweigh our own discomfort. Our venue has been amazing, and we will surely celebrate with all of our loved ones in the future. In addition, we had planned on doing a choreographed dance at our wedding, but instead turned into this video thanking our heroes

This giveaway would be a love way to make our actual marriage still occur in 2020, even if we cannot celebrate with all of our family. Because of the field that Ian is in, both our parent's would like to see us married this year, and this would be honoring their wishes as well as making 2020 have a happy ending.
