Together with their families Alex Schonhans and Marissa McCrea invite you to celebrate by putting your feet in the sand, soaking up the sun, and raising a glass in celebration of their marriage.
We decided to tie the knot abroad because we want to enjoy more than one day with our close family and friends. It would mean so much to us to have our loved ones travel the distance to witness our love.
The specifics:
We chose Occidental Caribe, an all inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to go on the ultimate vacation. We want the trip to be laid-back and relaxing for everyone, so we’re forgoing an itinerary and will recommend different excursions if your interested. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated to be at a certain place at a certain time (besides our wedding) throughout the vacation.
Our Wedding Day:
Alex and Marissa will be saying “I do” December 27th at 5pm on the white sand beaches of Bavaro. After the wedding will follow cocktails and music followed by a wedding dinner in one of the a la carte restaurants.
