More Information

Both David & Hannah have chosen to live their lives and walk out their relationship based on the Bible and it’s teachings. Therefore they are having a more Traditional Hebrew type of Scriptural Covenant/ Wedding. The following is to help you understand what to expect when you come to their Covenant/Wedding. In western tradition the focus is all about the Bride but in Biblical Hebrew tradition it’s all about the BrideGroom. So when you arrive there will be tables set up. You can find your place at a table where there will be snacks available; please feel free to partake from those snacks and socialize. Hannah will be present at her table and waiting for Davids arrival so feel free to go talk to her if you’d like but don’t distract her from watching for her Groom or pull her away from her table. Men/Males do not hug or touch Hannah unless you are a direct brother Uncle or her Father and you must have a woman present to talk to her. (This is out of Respect for the BrideGroom & Hannah’s Father). Eventually at some point David’s herald will arrive to let everyone know that the BrideGroom is coming! This is a very exciting time and everyone should take their seats because servers will be coming around to fill your wineglasses;… do not drink the wine at all until much later in the ceremony. Hannah will already have Davids covenant cup which she received from him at her Betrothal which happened at much earlier date. Near the end of the ceremony David will drink his cup of wine and turn it upside down for all to see as a sign before everyone present that he has Received the conditions of the covenant with Hannah & her Father; in case you didn’t know… this is a moment of celebration and cheering so feel free to clap cheer and congratulate from your seat. Shortly after that you will be invited to stand with your cup in your right hand & drink from the wine;… you should know that in choosing to stand & drink from the cup; you are making a commitment to pray for The Covenant between David & Hannah and you are making yourself available to help them should they call upon you in the future. You are also agreeing to hold them to their vows no matter how hard or difficult marriage can be. When directed you can drink from the cup but (you don’t have to drink it all). If you don’t feel that you can make that commitment then please just stay seated for that part of the ceremony. So that you are able to understand some things that you’re likely to hear during the ceremony; here is a list of words and what they mean… Elohim — GOD; Yehovah — The NAME of GOD; Yeshua — Jesus; Messiah — Christ; Yeshua HaMashiach — Jesus Christ; Ruach HaKodesh — Holy Spirit; Pa-Pa — Father GOD; Kedoshim — Holy Ones or Body of Christ. You may be wondering how it’s “Prophetic”? Here’s an explanation in short: In the Bible the church represents the bride and Jesus represents the Bridegroom and so Hannah and David are doing a betrothal which is an old Jewish tradition where he asks to marry Hannah and that’s when (in the olden days) the terms or agreements would be created between the father of the Bride and the Bridegroom of “I’ll take your daughters hand for a herd of cattle or 10 bulls” or whatever and then the Bride drinks a cup of wine to show she receives the Bridegroom and all the terms and agreements that her father and Bridegroom made (that’s technically the legal part where they sign all the paperwork and are legally married) and then the Bridegroom would leave til he had all the things in the agreement to give to the father of the bride and isn’t supposed to drink wine until he comes back and marries the bride. So that represents when Yeshua was at the last supper and he takes communion with the disciples and tells them I won’t drink of this cup until I return (the disciples being the Church/Bride and Yeshua being the Bridegroom) and he makes the terms and agreement of “I’m about to die for everyone’s sins so that you can be wash clean and be my Bride in heaven with me.” So at the wedding it will be like a reception the whole time and we won’t know when the Bridegroom comes (just like we don’t know when Yeshua is coming back) and Hannah’s not supposed to eat til he arrives (like how the church is supposed to fast while in waiting for Yeshua’s return) and then before David gets there there will be a herald who announces the Bridegroom is coming and when David gets there he greets everyone and then goes to Hannah and she’ll have a cup of wine for him to show she’s waited prepared for his return then the ceremony’s would start and afterwards David drinks the cup in front of everyone to show he receives her. (That would be after Jesus comes in heaven when everyone’s at the table and Jesus accepts all of as His.)
