We are excited to invite you into this next chapter of our lives together! From our first date doodling at a queer bar to sharing holiday meals with our families, we have felt supported by all of you in our love. Thank you for this gift! If you'd like to learn more about our story, click more. Van and Adrienne met on a crisp January evening in 2023 at a queer bar in downtown Oakland. We spent the whole date laughing and comparing crayon doodles. It did not take long to fall in love with each other's creativity, kindness, and sense of humor; we moved in together after just four months and got matching septum piercings to seal the deal! Whenever we introduced our friends and family to each other, they declared that our relationship was "nothing but green flags" and these blessings buoyed our love for each other. Both our relationship and each of our art prioritizes finding the magic in the mundane, and we are each other's muses as well as biggest fans.
