Cross Country Road Trip.
On June 11th, our parents will celebrate 60 years of marriage. For six decades, they have built a life centered around faith, family, kindness, humility, and service to others. They have never lived extravagantly, but they have always been generous with their time, love, encouragement, and willingness to help others whenever they could. Over the years, they have been blessed with wonderful friendships, a loving church community, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless meaningful relationships that have shaped their lives. Rather than hosting a large anniversary party, they decided they would rather spend this milestone creating memories with the people they love most. So this summer, they’ll be taking a cross-country road trip to visit family and dear friends along the way. As their children, Matt and I wanted to find a meaningful way to celebrate them and help make this journey a little easier and a little more special. If you would like to be part of their adventure, contributions can help sponsor things like: • gas for the many miles ahead • hotel stays along the way • meals and roadside coffee stops • small adventures and memory-making moments Prayers for safe travels, good health, and meaningful time together are also deeply appreciated. One of the greatest gifts would also be hearing memories, stories, or words of encouragement from those whose lives they’ve touched over the years. Thank you for helping celebrate two people who have spent a lifetime loving each other and others well.

I don’t think there’s ever been a day where Melinda didn’t greet me in the mornings. Big smile and a hug. Then Jerry is always standing at the door when we exit the church. We always stop and have a little conversation. I don’t know what I’d do without their love and hugs. Praying you have a very good trip safely arriving. Enjoy those babies big ones and little ones. I’ll be praying for you guys.
