Remember that one time we went to Reno? No? Let us fill you in. It was the most us. Spontaneous, but thought out. Romantic, hysterical. There was a killer playlist during an incredible roadtrip. We blew a flat, the dealer thought we were counting cards, but we got married in the same spot his grandparents did. In case you missed the backstory: This is a classic tale of boy meets girl but it's hyped up on Café Bustelo, assorted cheeses, & summertime. The story begins in a kitchen... catering a wedding (because of course it does) He let me garnish appetizers & I stole a bite when he turned his back. Next thing we know, we we're out for drinks, but just as friends. Reader, we left knowing we could never be just friends ever again. He asked me to dance, so I asked "can you lead?" & he retorted, "can you follow? just stand up." The next day, he told a friend "I'm gonna marry that girl." & I told one of mine "f*ck I'm in love" Turns out, we were both right.
