Em and Dom - the classic love story of friends turned lovers. Having been long-time friends for ten years, the faithful Thanksgiving of 2021 when Em was visiting home, Dom asked to catch up over dinner. It had been two transformative years since they'd laid eyes on each other and their connection was instant, falling back into their natural banter, but this time... it was safe to flirt shamelessly with each other. Quickly their courtship led to a week visit that turned to two weeks, then a month - you know what they say about lesbians UHauling! Dom moved to Florida a year after their first reconnection. Dom proposed to Em in June of 2023; Em proposed to Dom in November of 2023, and naturally after building their home with their two cats, Frenchie and Talulah, having adventures across states and oceans, being the best of friends and creating an accepting community with great humans, they wed on December 12, 2024. Puerto Rico is a meaningful place for the couple because Em has gotten to reconnect with her familial roots, and it's where Dom proposed to Em in June of 2023. They're taking this trip to really savor what La Isla del Encanto has to offer and celebrate their newlywedhood.
