Half Moon Bay is a charming, beachfront town surrounded by ocean and coastal bluffs about 25 minutes away from San Francisco and 30 minutes from Silicon Valley. The Oceano Resort, which is in one part of Half Moon Bay called Pillar Point Harbor, is where our wedding and reception will be. The historical Pillar Point Harbor, that has some New England flair, is about a half-mile from the famous surf spot, The Mavericks, where waves get up to 60 feet high in winter! The Oceano is also within walking distance to many eateries, brewing companies, cozy beach front shops and a perfect place to walk along the coast, the harbor, or the beach trials. Grab a coffee and lite bite right next to The Oceano at Caffee Mezzaluna, walk to grab a breakfast burrito or beer at Old Princeton Landing, visit Jetty Wave Distillery, or some of our other favorite places within walking distance linked below!
