As many of you know, travel quickly became an integral part of our relationship over the past six years. Traveling across the world together, learning about different cultures, and trying new cuisines have become some of our favorite things to do. After we say our "I do's," we will spend the first few weeks of married life on the Italian coast and French Riviera, two destinations that have been our bucket list for as long as we can remember. We look forward to morning dips in the Mediterranean Sea, strolling ancient cities, eating endless amounts of pasta, enjoying an afternoon aperol spritz, taking cooking lessons from local chefs, and visiting the finest vineyards and citrus groves. Most of all, we are excited to experience all of those things for the first time ever as husband and wife. Please take a look below at some of the activities we have planned. We are so unbelievably excited for this trip and look forward to creating memories that we will cherish forever.

Honeymoon

Italy and France

We will begin our trip with a week long stay in Sorrento, Italy at La Cocumella. Next we will move north, spending several days touring the ancient city of Rome. From there, we will say "ciao" to Italy and "bonjour" to the South of France, where we will first start in Cannes at the Hotel Martinez and then wrap up the trip in Vence at the Chateau Saint-Martin. • Blue Grotto Tour

  From the second we learned about the Blue Grotto in Capri, we knew we wanted to see it in real life to experience the crystal clear blue waters in a sparkling cavern ourselves.

• Dinner in Cannes

  We can't wait to have a dinner in Cannes and join the locals in sipping crisp rosés and grazing on platters of fruits de mer.

• Provence Wine Tour

  We love sipping on Provence wines from home, so why not see them at their source! We will be spending the day with a local guide as they take us to three different vineyards in the Provence region.

• Rome Food Tour

  There is no better way to see a city and learn about it's culture through...food! We are excited to try new Roman dishes that we can hopefully recreate back at home for our family and friends.

• Exploring Sainte-Marguerite Island

  Just off the coast of Cannes, the Sainte-Marguerite Island harbors hidden coves, tidal pools and beaches and is crisscrossed by a network of well-marked walking trails. We can't wait to explore it!

• Lunch in Vence

  After strolling around the cobblestone alleys of Vence, we are sure to work up an appetite.

• Breakfast fit for a Roman

  A cappuccino and pastry to fuel our morning of sightseeing!

• Lunch with a view in Sorrento

  We look forward to leisurely lunches with a view of the Gulf of Naples.

• Gelato Break!

  We foresee many afternoon gelato breaks in our future!

  A morning of exploring the beautiful island off the coast of Cannes, where an ancient monastery is home to 23 monks who make wine.

• Lunch at La Tonnelle on the Island of Saint-Honorat

  A lunch with a view after a morning of exploring Saint-Honorat.

• A coffee and croissant while exploring Cannes old town, Le Suquet

  We are excited to use our mornings to explore the old part of Cannes, Le Suquet, with a coffee and croissant in hand!
