  A docent will lead us on a tour of the Burroughs Home & Gardens, a Georgian revival–style mansion dating back to 1918.

• Visit to Cabbage Key

  We’ll join Captiva Cruises on a visit to Cabbage Key Inn & Restaurant, where we’ll enjoy a cheeseburger and put a dollar on the wall — a local tradition.

• Bike Rental on Sanibel Island

  This island is best seen on two wheels! We’ll ride our rented bikes through J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and along the shoreline.

• A Round of Golf

  We’ll play eighteen holes at Fort Myers Country Club, a public course that was once the favorite of two prominent American inventors.

• Furniture Upgrade

  We may need a few new pieces to refresh our home
