  A fun Ghibli museum. Characters and places represented from Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and others.

• Bullet Train Rides!

  We want to experience the speed of Japan’s MagLev trains! A super speedy way to get around Japan.

• Themed Cafe Visits

  Kirby Cafe, Pokémon Cafe, and Hello Kitty Cafe are all places we would love to check out! Maybe even a real cat cafe too… So many cute places to try!

• Tours and Cultural Experiences

  There will be beautiful palaces to tour, maybe a cooking class for us to take, or a lesson on traditional Japanese art or calligraphy. Should we take a samurai class?!

• Fancy Fruit!

  Kurt and I want to try the most expensive strawberries in the world! We may also try fancy melons.

• Unlimited Rail Pass

  With an unlimited rail pass, we can get around Japan without needing to worry about individual tickets for every ride! This will simplify things tremendously for us as we navigate all of Japan.

• Sumo Tournament

  We’ve been watching more sumo lately and are hoping to snag a highly elusive ticket to one of the tournament days in Tokyo!!
