As many of you know, Tyler and I met on a school bus when we were just fifteen and sixteen—two kids headed nowhere special, completely unaware we were riding straight into our future. He was a relentless freshman with stars in his eyes and a heart that had already made up its mind. I, on the other hand, was absolutely positive I had better things to do than entertain his very obvious crush. But he never gave up! Day after day, ride after ride, he showed up with the same determination (and those same eyes). Somewhere between missed stops, shared laughs, and me pretending not to care, persistence turned into familiarity… and familiarity quietly turned into love. Sixteen anniversaries later—after growing up, growing together, and building a life side by side—he finally asked the question. And this September, the girl who once couldn’t be bothered, gets to finally say yes💍❤️
