We eloped!

Cory and Ashley eloped! A note from the bride: Cory and I have been engaged for some time, but whenever we sat to plan a wedding, nothing felt right except just being together. In that spirit, we decided to elope on March 7, 2026 in the early morning at Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver, Canada, with a ceremony attended by Cory's parents as witness. Though it was raining outside, it was a balmy, bird-filled ceremony inside the green house. After the ceremony we had endless bowls of fresh pasta and Lambrusco before wandering the city still dressed up - suit, veil, and all! A perfect day through and through.

Honeymoon

Loiré, France

Cory and Ashley are both avid cyclists with countless miles under each of their belts and this will be their first time cycling together. For their honeymoon, they will be flying to France with their road bikes and cycling through the Loire Valley to try as many grapes as they can. While in France, if they can extend their stay, Ashley will take French lessons in an effort to reach fluency to chat with Cory, who is already fluent, and the locals.
