The welcome party will be Friday August 23rd from 6-9 at the Center for Wooden Boats. There is plenty of public parking available at the Center and Ubers are easy to get to and from the party. We will have drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvre. Center For Wooden Boats 1010 Valley St, Seattle, WA 98109 If you are staying in Issaquah, Gilman Village has great coffee, food, shops and bars that you can visit. It's a nice place to walk around and has plenty of parking available. Don't forget a swim suit if anyone wants to take a dip in the lake at any point! A few other iconic spots are Snoqualmie Falls, Pikes Place Market, The Seattle Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium, and of course the Space Needle. There are great brewery tours in the Ballard neighborhood as well.
