Our Wedding Tree
There’s one thing in our backyard we don’t want growing into our future together: a Bradford pear tree. While it may look pretty for a few weeks each year, it’s actually an invasive species that crowds out native plants and weakens local ecosystems. We’d love to replace it with something more meaningful — a native yellowwood tree that can grow alongside us for years to come. If you’d like to give us a wedding gift, contributing to our “replace the Bradford pear” fund would mean so much to us. Please know that your love and support are more than enough, and we never want anyone to feel pressured to give.
