We met during the COVID pandemic in August 2020 through Tinder. We started talking on August 1st, met in person a week later, and instantly felt a connection. Soon after, we introduced each other to our children, and our lives blended together naturally. From the beginning, we both knew this relationship was something special. One thing I loved was how curious he was about my life in Brazil. We spent hours talking about our families, childhoods, and the journeys that shaped us. When we finally traveled to Brazil together in February 2022, after the borders reopened, it was amazing to see him recognize places he'd only known through my stories. Those conversations, shared experiences, and our growing understanding of each other's lives became the foundation of the relationship we have today.
