Hello friends and family. After four years of dating and nearly six years of engagement, Sam and I chose to get married on a date that means the world to us, our 10 year anniversary on February 6, 2026. Throughout our engagement, we reflected on what mattered most to us and decided a small courthouse elopement in the city where we found each other felt like the most meaningful choice. What started as a lighthearted joke with Jacquelyn’s parents about running to the courthouse eventually became our reality, celebrating with our immediate family. We met at San Diego State University in the Kinesiology program, bonding over a shared passion for the human body, natural healing, and big dreams. Over the years, we have grown together through graduate school, life transitions, and building our future side by side. Looking ahead, we are excited to one day buy our first home in San Diego, continue traveling the world, and keep nurturing deep connections with our friends and family.

Honeymoon

Seoul, South Korea

We are celebrating our newlywed chapter with an eight day honeymoon in Seoul, South Korea, departing the day after our wedding on February 7th. We plan to explore local markets, enjoy traditional Korean cuisine, and experience Korea’s world renowned skincare and beauty culture. We also hired a photographer and will be bringing our wedding outfits for a fun photoshoot at some of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Lotte World Tower, the sixth tallest building in the world. We cannot wait to soak in the culture, beauty, and energy of the city while creating unforgettable memories as newlyweds.
