More than that, it's a place where you can be a part of our dream honeymoon adventure. Your love and support have been a constant in our story, whether you've been with us since day one or have joined along the way. We are so thrilled to have you with us in the enchanting town of Truckee, CA, for our wedding! This little gem, where we've made so many beautiful memories, is filled with cozy lodges, chic hotels, and charming inns, all nestled near the historical heart of downtown Truckee and serene Lake Tahoe. We encourage you to find a spot online that feels right for you. A small piece of advice: staying near downtown or Donner Lake will make your experience even more magical. We recommend using taxis the night of our wedding if you are not within walking distance. ** Some of our personal faves: (1)The Truckee Hotel (2)SpringHill Suites (3)Gravity Haus (4)The Truckee-Donner Lodge ***THINGS TO KNOW - (1)We will have a shuttle available from downtown Truckee to Donner Lake West End Beach and back! (2)We plan to stay at Donner Lake until sunset then head out to Truckee Thursday - a street festival in downtown Truckee with live music and a beer garden. (2.5)Feel free to bring your bathing suit. (3)This is a kid-friendly event. (4)Bring your dance pants (and shoes :) (5)Bring something warm to wear.
