We are doing the dang thing!!! We are having a small private ceremony in the little brick studio where we met back in 2016! Back then it was used for the Studio Show - a web series that featured local artists and musicians. An evening in September that year they hosted a band night to record that season's local bands and singer/song writers. Both Alex and I performed music that night. The tension and nerves to play in front of cameras and a captive audience for me were colossal, but paled in comparison to the courage I thought I needed to talk to Alex. I believe some gin and red wine helped eliminate all fear and we ended up talking into the morning hours. It's been eight years together now and playing music remains a centerpiece for us - not so much for audiences now but we do play for our cats when they care to listen. Here is to many more years of singing in harmony and creating art together 💗
