We're eloping! We're choosing an intimate ceremony/ honeymoon in Japan to celebrate our love — just the two of us. While we aren't having a traditional wedding, we're incredibly grateful for your support and love from afar. If you'd like to contribute to our journey, we've created a registry for meaningful experiences with tours, entertainment, transportation and dinning. Your kindness means the world to us. • Shaboten Zoo

  Part zoo, part botanical garden- this quirky attraction hosts 140 species, including capybaras in an onsen, red pandas, kangaroos, sloths, monkeys and more.

• Meiji Jingū

  Explore Meiji Jingū museum, inner garden, and shrine grounds. Walk the forest shrine path, crossing massive Tori gates.

• Nagoya castle and Atsuta Shrine

  Explore historical Hommaru Palace and peaceful gardens. Learn about samurai heritage and see relics/ traditional swords

• Nara Park

  Feed the free-roaming deer and ride jinrikisha around Nara park.

• Hozugawa River Cruise

  2 hour boat ride down Hozugawa River. Starting from Kameoka passengers go through dramatic ravines and seasonal landscapes then end at Arashiyama.

  Cat cafés let guests sit and interact with cats while enjoying drinks and snacks. These cafés are especially popular in urban areas where pet ownership is difficult due to space and other restrictions

• Train station

  Help us travel around Japan. Tokyo (2nights) —> Izu (2 nights) —> Nagoya (2 nights) —> Kyoto (5nights) —> Osaka (4 nights).
