Welcome Family and Friends
Most friends and family know the health issues that pushed our wedding date to the weekend after Hurricane Helene hit. Subsequently the courthouse was the easiest. Also both of us were determined that nothing would delay the ceremony any further. We cancelled the perfect barn, wedding singer, catering, chairs, and flowers. Losing a substantial deposit once it became apparent the bride would not be able to walk down the aisle. While this hit home rather hard, the couple stayed positive knowing so many around them lost so much. "We were lucky. We are lucky." It didn't take long before the family of three decided a familymoon, eventually, and a few home things for the new house is all that's wanted. "Truly, we have all we need, as long as we have our family." We thank those of you who attended our ceremony. We wanted to convey our appreciation for those of you who expressed your regret for not having been there as well. We are grateful for you all. With Love 💕 The Wilson Family -JLM
Honeymoon
Poconos, Pennsylvania
TBD. still deciding the location as we would go to Hell and back for the other. Generally this is a good thing. A great thing. *Laughing because this has left us either hunting/fishing in the woods for a week (bride's idea bc I know he'd love it and I love him. And absolutely adore seeing him happy. Even over the little things. Especially over the little things. ;) Groom would do ANYTHING for his bride, his wife, offering Greece, Italy, or Costa Rica up as options he knows take up space on that specific to-do list. Bucket list is such a morbid term Is it not?!? Also, the timing plays a key role in the locale. A smooth and enjoyable trip to The Poconos in Winter is as likely as Cancun in July. :) Also taking into account it's a familymoon including our Son, Maxim, so school and activity scheduling is happily modified for each family member's professional, personal, and educational needs. It's only a week anyway. With that being said it does add to the cost of the trip, mostly the flight and food but also adding in a few activities that we know would be core memories as Max is growing up so fast! Jason and Max, neither one, have ever been on an airplane. This adds more adventure, mystery, and absolute and utter appreciation of & for the already overwhelming amount we have for the good hearted and good humored friends and family we have and we value-Above all else.
