Tammy and I have been together for over 10 years and after the long and winding road it's time to get married! We welcome all to join our epic journey as we look forward to our wedding day surrounded by amazing family and friends. For those who know us - we are inseparable. We love doing everything together and our love for each other, and our kids is like something out of a fairy tale. Neither of us imagine a more perfect partner to share life's wonders with and everyday is a blessing that we cannot believe could ever really happen. Tammy has never been to Europe and Italy is at the top of her dream list for our honeymoon! We love Italian wines and food, art, culture, history and architecture. Won't you please help our honeymoon dreams come true in 2024? We're planning to travel from Venice to Verona, Bologna, Asti and Sienna over 16 days. The basic itinerary is to fly into Venice - and stay there for just a couple of nights (always too crowded but a must see!). Then, travel by train to Verona where, if timing works out, we'll spend time with an old friend, Nicola Biscardo. then it's off to Bologna - one of the best kept secrets as best place to go in all of Italy - from food to wine to gallaries and real non-touristy Italian living. Then it'll be by train up to Asti for some of the greatest wines in all of Europe - dazzling nebbiolo and barbera! After that it will be down to Sienna for some gorgeous architectural history. The idea is to tour some of the most romantic and beautiful sites the northern part of the country has to offer while eating and drinking like locals. Of course food is high on the priority scale so if any of you have recommendations from recent trips - we're all ears!
