  We'll want to leave the resort now and then to enjoy several different spots on this beautiful tropical island.

  We'll rent a jeep to independently explore the beautiful island of Koh Samui!

• Flight - Koh Sumai to Chiang Mai

  Flight from the Thai beaches to the Thai countryside.

  Chiang Mai provides a wealth of opportunities to explore nature and elephant trekking, rafting, and hiking.

  We'll dine one night at Palaad Tawanron, a restaurant set into a rocky ravine nestled next to a waterfall.

• Trollies and trains for the day in Chiang Mai

  Not sure if they have light rail in Chiang Mai, our mode of transportation will likely be auto-ricksaws and our own two feet.

• Sightseeing at Chiang Mai National Museum

  including the Chiang Mai National Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Wat Chiang Man temple

• Riverboat ride in Chiang Mai

  Explore the lush land and water under the romantic Thai sun (and shade!)

• Thai Massage training school

  Don't just give a fish to a boy if you can teach him how to fish!

• Patara Elephant Farm in Chiang Mai

  We want to see these marvelous animals up close and personal...and, hopefully, get to ride a couple!

• Flight - Chiang Mai to Siem Reap

  Siem Reap is the home of Angkor Wat, a contender for Wonder of the World status

  We're looking forward to enjoying traditional Cambodian cuisine, such as beef in bamboo strips and the sand goby (fish) with ginger.

  We'll utilize the bicycle taxis to get around the ruins of Angkor Wat for the day

• Ancient Wonder of the World: Angkor Wat

  We'll visit the most famous temples of Cambodia and hire a guide to tell us all the history and fun stories

• Flight - Siem Reap to Bangkok

  We'll venture from the jungles of Cambodia to the bustling Thai capital to catch our flight home to the US.

• Hotel in Bangkok - Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit

  We will be savoring rooftop champagne, LOccitane fragranced spa journeys, and afternoon swims amidst a lush landscape nine stories high.

• Thai Treasures in Bangkok for 3 days

  Including a decadent meal at Poj Spa Kar, the oldest restaurant in Bangkok!

• Transport for the day in Bangkok

  The auto-rickshaw will be our go to, unless the 90 degree heat and air pollution shifts our desires to the more comfortable, air-conditioned taxis.

• Khao Thai Cooking School

  Learn to cook the Thai delicacies of curries, noodles, and stir fries-- and bring skills for dinner parties back to the US!

• Couples message in Bangkok

  A last luxurious relaxation before our return flight to the US.

• Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River

  A real treat with a 2.5 hour evening cruise along Bangkok's Chao Phraya river. We'll watch river life go by and feast on a Thai dinner as the band on board entertains us. To end our trip in style!
