Nine years ago, our love story began with a whirlwind of life’s ups and downs. Sometimes, life separates what love has joined, but through faith, hope, and support, we find restoration. Scripture reminds us in Joel 2:25, ‘I will restore the years that the locust has eaten.’ God is a God of restoration! This wedding is a joyful celebration of renewing our vows, rebuilding our family, and legally uniting in the U.S. After my move from Italy two years ago, this is a step toward our family being fully restored. As the Bible says, ‘What God has joined together, let no one separate.’ In lieu of traditional gifts, if you feel led to support us, contributions toward restoring our family—such as our wedding, legal process, and future together—are warmly welcomed.
