New Orleans, Fairhope, & Orange Beach (Dec. 26 to Jan. 1)

Dear Family and Friends, As we prepare to embark on our honeymoon, we want to share our enchanting journey with you, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. Our adventure begins in the vibrant heart of New Orleans on St. Charles Avenue, where we’ll spend two magical nights at The Grand Victorian, a charming bed and breakfast that exudes Southern hospitality. Picture us strolling hand in hand through the historic streets and along the trolley line, the aroma of beignets wafting through the air, and the sound of jazz music serenading us from nearby cafes. One of the highlights of our stay will be a romantic dinner at Commander's Palace, a culinary gem renowned for its exquisite Creole cuisine. We can already imagine toasting to our love over delectable dishes, surrounded by the lively ambiance that only New Orleans can offer. After indulging in the city’s culinary delights, we’ll glide across the serene waters of Bayou St. John, paddle boating in picturesque City Park. The lush greenery, stunning live oak trees and tranquil surroundings will provide the perfect backdrop for us to create cherished memories together, as we revel in the beauty of nature and each other’s company. Next, we’ll journey to Fairhope, Alabama, where we’ll check into Emma's Bay House, a quaint bed and breakfast brimming with charm and folklore. Although we’re still crafting our itinerary, we’ve heard whispers of Fairhope transforming into a magical Christmas Village during this season. We look forward to exploring twinkling lights, festive decorations, and cozy evening stroll through the town, hand in hand, soaking in the holiday spirit. Our adventure continues as we make our way to Orange Beach, where we’ll stay at the Romar House for two nights. This beautiful coastal bed and breakfast promises relaxation and romance. On New Year’s Eve, we’ll dine at Bolo, a beloved childhood friend’s seafood and steak restaurant. We can already envision the laughter and joy of celebrating the arrival of a new year, surrounded by good food and even better company. Finally, we’ll return home to Baton Rouge on New Year’s Day, our hearts full of love and our spirits high from our enchanting honeymoon. We can’t wait to share our stories and memories with all of you! Thank you for being a part of our lives and this special journey. Here’s to love, adventure, and new beginnings!
