Honeymoon

Tokyo, Japan

Why Japan? When choosing our honeymoon destination, we wanted a place that reflected both of us; not just as individuals, but as a couple. Japan felt like the perfect choice. For Sam, Japan is home to many of the things he loves most: history, Pokémon, Gundam, and all things nerdy. From exploring museums to seeing a life-sized Gundam and stepping into the world of Pokémon, this trip is full of experiences he’s dreamed about for years. For Jackie, Japan has always been a dream destination too, especially because of Disney. Visiting Tokyo Disney and DisneySea has long been on the bucket list, and getting to experience that magic together as newlyweds feels like something straight out of a fairy tale. And yes, before anyone asks: Jackie still doesn’t eat seafood. Fortunately, Japan is so much more than sushi, and she’s determined to prove that one delicious meal at a time. Beyond the attractions, we’re excited to experience a culture so different from our own, wander through beautiful cities, try new things, and create memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. Our honeymoon isn’t just about where we’re going, it’s about beginning this new chapter together and sharing in the things each of us loves most. Thank you for helping us turn this dream into a reality. We can’t wait to bring home stories (and probably far too many souvenirs).

  Sam has shared his love of Pokémon with Jackie, from stories about the games to all his favorite Pokémon. Visiting PokéPark Kanto is a dream come true for our resident Pokémon trainer!

• Godzilla Lounge

  If a giant robot wasn’t intimidating enough, now we’re adding Godzilla to the itinerary. At least this monster comes with food and drinks. 🤣🦖🍸

• Gundam Museum

  Sam dreams of seeing Japan’s life-sized Gundam. Jackie is excited (and terrified)!

• Universal Studios Japan

  Between Super Nintendo World and all the incredible attractions, Universal Studios Japan is a dream destination for two big nerds in love. We can’t wait to level up our honeymoon adventure! 🎮❤️

• Sanrio Puroland

  A visit to Sanrio Puroland is a dream come true for Jackie, who can’t resist all things cute and colorful. After giant robots for Sam, it’s only fair that Hello Kitty gets her turn!

• Disney Tokyo

  What’s better than Disney? Disney in Japan! We’re looking forward to exploring the parks, trying exclusive treats, and embracing our inner kids together. 🏰

• Pamper Day for Two

  Hot Springs, Accupuncture, or a massage, who doesn't like to get pampered?

• Peanuts Cafe

  We’re looking forward to sharing a meal at the PEANUTS Cafe and embracing a little childhood nostalgia. Plus, who could say no to spending time with Snoopy? 🐶✨

• Make our own chopsticks

  What better way to remember our trip than by making something we’ll actually use? These custom chopsticks will be our proof that we survived eating in Japan without Jackie touching a single fish. 🤣🥢
