• Round-Trip Airfare - Atlanta to Reykjavik

  These are 2 tickets to chase the northern lights!

• CityHub Reykjavik Pod Hotel

  We will stay here our first & last nights in Iceland. It is right around the corner from all the Reykjavik sites, & it will be Eddie's first experience sleeping in a pod.

• Blue Lagoon Comfort Package

  This package includes lagoon access, a towel, a silica mud mask at the mask bar, & 1 drink at the swim-up bar. Here's to hoping the current nearby volcanic eruption doesn't do too much lagoon damage!

• Magic Ice Ice Bar

  This will be Eddie's first experience in an ice bar. Entry includes a welcome drink, a winter poncho, & gloves.

• Parking & Entry Fund

  This will cover parking & entry for all of the sites we plan to visit on the entire trip.

• Food Fund

  We will eat mostly groceries, but we will have some meals out as well. We are most excited about eating at a famous tomato greenhouse restaurant called Fridheimer on the Golden Circle.

• Inside the Volcano Tour at Thrihnukagigur Volcano

  On this tour, we will hike to & descend into this volcano, carried inside by a hydraulic lift. This is the only place in the world where it's possible to go inside a volcano.

• Bubble Hotel Hrosshagi

  We will *hopefully* watch the northern lights from our bed in this heated bubble! We will stay here 1 night.

• Tower Airbnb near Solheimer

  This is an accommodation in a tower with a viewing window at the top in case the northern lights grace us with their presence. We will stay here 2 nights.

• Laugarvatn Fontana Bread-Baking Experience

  We will bake rye bread in the boiling sand at Laugarvatn Fontana. Once buried, it takes 24 hours to naturally bake in the sand. Then it will be dug up & eaten.

• Conjoined Cabin Airbnb in Vik

  This Airbnb is conveniently located in Vik, where several days' worth of activites are located. We will stay here 3 nights.

• Katla Ice Cave Tour & Glacier Hike

  Katla ice cave is well known for its blue- & black-striped ice. The black stripes come from volcanic ash.

• Vik Lava Show

  Reykjavik & Vik are the only places in the world that have a live lava show, & it is *real* lava. This price includes a souvenir piece of lava from the show.

• Rental Car with Insurance

  We will drive the entire Ring Road in a Toyota RAV4 with 4-wheel drive, as the terrain in Iceland can be rough, & the weather can be unpredictable. The listed price is per day for 16 days.

• Skaftafell Ice Climb & Glacier Hike

  After exploring other parts of Skaftafell preservation area, we will take a guided glacier hike & try our hands at ice-climbing.

• Gas Fund

  This will cover our approximation of gas we will need for 16 days driving the Ring Road. The listing price is for 1 day's worth of gas.

• Hotel Jokulsarlon - Glacier Lagoon Hotel

  This hotel is very close to a few days' worth of activities. It has several hot tubs & a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains & glaciers. We will stay here for 2 nights.

• Crystal Ice Cave Tour

  We will hike through a blue ice cave!

• Fjalladyrd Guesthouse

  We will stay one night in this adorable turf house on a family farm. This is the old way the Vikings used to live, with the natural insulation of grass roofs. This is a huge bucket list item for Jo.

• Dimmuborgir Guesthouse

  This cabin is right on Lake Myvatn. Reviews say this is the perfect place to watch the northern lights as they reflect off of the lake below. We will stay here 2 nights.

• Myvatn Nature Baths

  The Myvatn Nature Baths are geothermal hot springs similar to Blue Lagoon but less crowded & less expensive. After 5 days straight of hiking, we will need this break!

• Panorama Glass Lodge West

  Jo has followed this place on Instagram for years, dreaming of the day she might finally stay there. This is a glass lodge where the aurora sometimes dance overhead. We will stay here 1 night.

• Big Whale & Seal Watch from Husavik

  Husavik is the whale capital of Iceland, & this particular tour will give.us a chance to see big whales, like the blue whale, as well as dolphins, porpoises, & seals.

• Sky Lagoon Ser Package

  Sky Lagoon is another beautiful geothermal hot spring. This package includes a towel, the Skjol ritual, & a private changing room.

• Souvenir Fund

  We would like to bring home either a painting by an Icelandic artist, or a few smaller souvenirs, to remember our dream honeymoon by! This fund is broken into 8 $25 increments, as our budget is $200.

• Shuttle to & from the DC-3 Plane Wreck at Solheimasandur Beach

  This site is free to visit, but the shuttle is not. It's a long walk from the road to the plane wreckage, & the walk can be quite difficult if the weather is bad, & so we will take the shuttle.

• Hotel Akureyri

  We are going to stay at this adorable typical Nordic bed & breakfast for one night. Our room will have one of the cute windows on the roof.

• Glacier Zipline Tour

  We will hike up a glacier & zipline over it!
