Signature Cocktail
Our signature cocktails were created for us today by the talented bartenders at Frankies Sputino, a great Italian bistro with locations in the West Village and Brooklyn. Jamie enjoyed a Hudson Sting with cointreau and grenadine, a perfect light cocktail for a spring or summer wedding. Sara drank Frankies take on the Long Island Tea — Frankie Ice Tea. Both of these drinks would be excellent for any spring or summer wedding celebration! In fact, consider holding your NY wedding or rehearsal dinner at Frankies in Brooklyn, which boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor event spaces!

1.What’s the best advice for couples who want to stay sane while they plan their wedding?
- When you first become engaged, be sure to give yourself a long enough engagement. The average engagement is fourteen months. Don’t rush, give yourself time to book your venue, invite guests and allow them time to book travel…
- DELEGATE! DELEGATE! DELEGATE! Find people to help you plan your big day, doing it on your own is overwhelming and just not as much fun. More partners are getting involved in the planning process, find out what your partner is interested in helping with…Music? Food? After-party? Honeymoon planning?
2. What’s the best idea you ever came across in your three years at the Knot?
- Let your personality, uniqueness and style come through. A custom wedding dress, your own vows, let your colors shine through. Get creative!
3. What’s the biggest mistake wedding couples make?
- 45% of all couples go over budget! So take the time to set a reasonable budget before spending money on wedding planning.
