Win Microsoft Beats Solo2 Headphones

Are you starting to feel like you just might lose your mind before the wedding?

You’re not alone. Every to-be-wed comes to at least one moment of complete overwhelm as they prepare for the big day.

Thankfully, that means we all have some collective wisdom to share. Here’s the #1 tip I’ve learned over the years: Listen to music every day. Turns out music can both de-stress and help you achieve some of your goals! Here are three ways music will rock your wedding-planning world:

1. Get Moving! Put on some headphones and Dance. Walk. Jog. Hike. Do what you do best! Bonus: You’ll be getting fit for your wedding/honeymoon in the most fun way.

2. Take a Bath. A good old-fashioned bubble bath does wonders to relieve stress and get the warm fuzzy going. Bonus: Play Mozart while you soak and you’ll give your brain a boost including increased memory, understanding and problem-solving. They are all linked to Mozart’s music.

3. Play Music While You Plan. So many music apps have curated playlists for all kinds of moods, so find one you like and crank it up. Bonus: Here you can listen to millions of songs just about anywhere and when you hear a song you love, just add it to your wedding reception playlist!

Now, tell us your favorite thing to do with music in the comments below, and you’ll be entered to win a pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear Headphones from Microsoft!

We’ll pick a random winner October 14!

My favorite thing to do while listening to music is dance and laugh with my grandchildren. Music is the best thing to introduce them to and dancing helps coordination and musicality! Instruments are next, but only the kind they can dance with while playing!

  • Lisa Melendez says:

These are perfect for listening to music as I fall asleep! Would not have to hear hubby’s snoring. But even better for my Breast Cancer surgery coming up, I wouldn’t bother anyone at the hospital with my music and it would help ease the pain.

  • Jeremiah says:

Always playing during the daily workouts and on the way to work. These headphones would make a huge difference compared to the basic earbuds I currently use!!!!!

  • Music is what brings my fiance to life. So we often break into song for no reason. We also often create our own songs out of just about anything. (We have a song just for bananas) But we love to play music whenever we’re cleaning the house or working on projects together. Often breaking into dance breaks to keep the momentum going. We also own a business together so we usually have headphones on since we have different tastes in “work-mode tunes”. This would be a GREAT bonus.

  • Music is a source of relaxation and brings calmness to my day. At the end of the day on my way home from work I like to listen to some music to unwind from the long stressful day. No matter what mood I’m in, happy, sad, stressed; music brings positivity to that moment. I also enjoy tuning into my music while I’m at the gym exercising. The music flowing gets the adrenaline going to help me complete the best possible workout.

My honest-to-gawd favorite thing to do with music is to just LISTEN to it in my music room. As a teen I would put on an album and listen to every song: every lyric, every guitar riff, every bass line, every drum beat. Nowadays it seems I’m always DOING something with my music playing in the background, like driving or cleaning, or some other mundane task or chore. One o’these days, I will just kick back and LISTEN to every part of a song on an album again.

Our favorite thing to do now is to have that rare weekend night where we put on our old vinyl records and dance. We’re ready for that first dance!
