DIY: Honeymoon Inspired “Do Not Disturb” Sign

DIY: Do Not Disturb sign

DIY: Do Not Disturb sign

Our DIY today is definitely honeymoon inspired, a cute “Do Not Disturb” sign. This would be great addition to a couple’s honeymoon survival kit (other things can include a gift off their honeyfund, advil, sunscreen…).  Another cute way to use these is to personalize them with your wedding colors to put in a welcome basket for the guests at your wedding. They could say something like “Do Not Disturb. We were up all night partying at Sara & Josh’s wedding!”

Supplies

  1. Scrapbook paper (several patterns from your or honeymoon wedding theme)
  2. Scissors
  3. Glue
  4. Letters (stickers, stamps, stencils)
  5. Hole punch
  6. Ribbon

Directions:

  1. Choose a pattern of scrapbook paper for the main part of your sign and cut
  2. Cut hearts or other shapes out of other pieces of paper and glue onto your sign
  3. Add your lettering
  4. Hole punch at the top
  5. Loop your ribbon through the hole (so you can hang)

Signature Cocktail: Winter Sangria

This is such a fun signature cocktail for your winter wedding or party, and it’s easy to make in big batches ahead of time. The result is a beautiful color, perfect to add “pop” to your event.  We love the idea of having the sangria in pitchers on each table to add color to your tablescape. This cocktail can easily be modified to non-alcoholic punch.
